After the Village Closed - The Bergen County Years

  • A Virtual Tour of the Village Many Years Later

After all these years it is an emotional experience to return to a place that was a major part of childhood experiences. Through the use of the Web, we invite you to join us on a virtual tour of the St. Joseph's Village site as it is today. [take tour]
  • LoriAnn Takes a Summer Stroll Back to SJV

A period of time before we took our tour of the Village in preparation for the "Virtual Tour of the Village Today," LoriAnn went on her own pilgrimage and captured on film several examples of the Village as it stands today with the trees in full bloom. [see]

MAKING A VISIT
TO THE SITE

We regret that the Village site has been demolished and is no longer available to visit in any state that resembles its rich past.  See the full story [Here].

As of this date the site is an active construction site with round the clock security guards. After demolision, new construction will continue on the site to build a new health care facility. We do not incourage tressapesing.

StJosephsVillage.com, with the help of a few photographers, is bringing you as much content about the site as is legally possible. To see the site during demolision and any future activity on the site, see "the Final Chapter." An alternative way to tour the Village would be to see or Virtual Tour of the Village Today.  [take tour]
